Filipino- Style Beef Steak
Beef steaks are typically served grilled, though they are also often pan-fried. Filipino- style beef steak uses a tender cut of beef (top or bottom round, sirloin or tenderloin), seasoned and has a light sauce so it does not dry up.
Filipino- style Beef Steak
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 cup sliced onion
- 6 slices tender steaks
- 1 tbsp calamansi juice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- cooking oil
Procedure:
- marinate steaks in calamansi juice, soy sauce, salt and pepper for about 30 minutes.
- Pan fry in about 2 tbsps of oil. When steaks are cooked remove them from pan onto a serving dish.
- Add about 2 tsps of oil to remaining oil in the same pan and pan fry the onion until tender.
- Pile on top of steaks. Serve hot.
